The Carolina Beach Street Art Festival takes place at Carolina Beach Lake Park on May 8th, 2021 and features more than 70 artists, plus musicians, dancing, and interactive arts for children. Exhibitors in the juried show will sell work in a variety of media and forms — painting, photography collage, pottery, textiles, metal, wood, glass, jewelry, and furniture. There will be performers all day at the bandshell, face painting, a roaming juggler, a stilt walker, and a balloon guy. Local performers include guitarists Eric Keely and Elliot Smith plus JV Flanagan of The Cut, and Beaches & Boots line dancers. Food vendors and food trucks on site.
The Carolina Beach Street Arts Festival is an annual Fundraiser for their “parent” organization, the Island Arts and Culture Alliance. The IaCa is a not-for-profit 501c3. creating a better community through art installations, murals, and school support.
