DRISKILL is a Wilmington, NC based band that successfully blends various genres and quick-spitting lyrics to create intriguing sounds and enjoyable live shows. They perform alt-country, soul, gritty rock and rock and even gospel – all with an underlying folk foundation backed by banjo, guitar, and drums. Their album, “Country Blues” was released in 2016. in 2017 they released their double EP “Love, Dreams, & Foolish Things.” The latest single, December News, was released in 2020.
Driskill is influenced heavily by The Avett Brothers adding in elements of punk and bluegrass. They have shared stages with artists such as: Rayland Baxter, Christopher Paul Stelling, Driftwood, and Tyler Ramsey from Band of Horses.
